Jackson, MS (November 15, 2022) – At around 9:32 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of a car wreck in Jackson. The incident was reported to officials in the area who quickly responded.
At least one person was in need of emergency medical care at the crash site. The incident occurred on Interstate 220 near Medgar Evers Boulevard.
Reports show that traffic was backed up near the scene to avoid the area while emergency crews were present. Police asked local drivers to use caution and steer clear for the time being.
Paramedics treated those with injuries on-site and transported at least one individual to the hospital as needed. The names of those involved remain unknown at this time.
