Hattiesburg, MS (November 28, 2022) – A serious car crash happened in Hattiesburg on the evening of November 27. At approximately 9:26 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the wreck site to render aid.
At least one person was hurt in the crash that happened on Interstate 59 near US 49 South. An unknown number of cars crashed on the interstate and caused injuries.
One or more people required emergency medical attention at the accident scene. Paramedics treated injured parties and transported patients with serious injuries to local medical centers. The names of the involved individuals have not been reported at this time.
Police in Hattiesburg continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
