Jackson, MS (December 2, 2022) – A major car accident happened in Jackson on the afternoon of November 27. Shortly after 4:00 p.m., emergency dispatchers sent police and paramedics to the scene of the wreck on Interstate 20.
Crews were seen working at the crash scene located on I-20 just past the I-55 North exit a short time after the incident occurred. An unspecified number of vehicles collided in the area and caused one or more people to sustain injuries.
What caused the accident is still being investigated by local police at this time. All westbound lanes of the interstate were closed while emergency personnel worked in the area.
