Jackson, MS (December 26, 2022) – On Monday, authorities in Jackson County rushed to the site of a traffic collision that resulted in injuries. On December 26, at around 7:35 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a collision on Interstate 55. Highway Patrol reports indicate that a collision has closed the freeway’s southbound lanes. Before Highway 7, the event created delays on the right side of the route.
