Meridian, MS (January 3, 2023) – One person lost their life in a crash in Meridian on Sunday morning, January 1. At approximately 10:00 a.m., a vehicle headed west on Highway 482 ran off the roadway and overturned.
Nakeya Amos, a passenger present in the vehicle at the time, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Authorities pronounced Amos deceased at the scene.
Authorities in Meridian continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
