Jackson, MS (January 11, 2023) – A serious car accident happened in Jackson on January 11. Shortly before 9:00 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of a crash on Interstate 55.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 near Lakeland Drive. At least two vehicles crashed in the area and injured those involved.
Emergency responders were seen working in the area for an extended period of time on the morning of January 11. The injured parties who required extensive medical care were loaded into ambulances and transported to area hospitals.
