De Kalb, MS (January 14, 2023) – As previously reported, a car accident happened in Kemper County, De Kalb, on January 3. The wreck resulted in the death of one person and injuries to others.
According to reports, the crash occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on Highway 16. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported Lin Harrison, 47, of DeKalb, lost her life in the two-car accident. It happened on Highway 16.
The vehicle driven by Harrison collided head-on with a truck operated by Don Dickerson, 52, of Louisville. Harrison lost his life at the scene. Dickerson, along with other passengers, sustained injuries described as moderate.
