Brandon, MS (January 18, 2023) – A serious car accident was reported to police in Brandon on the morning of January 17. At approximately 6:39 a.m., emergency crews were observed rendering aid at the scene of a car crash near Grants Ferry Road.
Initial reports reveal the wreck occurred on Lakeland Drive near Grants Ferry Road and Castlewood Boulevard. At least two cars crashed in the area, causing significant damages and injuries to those involved.
At this time, the reason the collision occurred is still under investigation by local police. One or more people were in need of emergency medical care at the scene.
