Terry, MS (February 2, 2023) – A serious car crash was reported to police in Terry on the morning of February 2. Shortly before 10:00 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 55.
Reports indicate the wreck occurred on I-55 near Cunningham Street. An unknown number of cars collided just past the Terry exit and caused injuries.
The roadway was blocked while emergency crews were present. At least one individual was in need of emergency medical attention at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Delays in traffic ensued near Cunningham Street on I-55 while the crash site was occupied by responders. Police in Terry are still investigating the details of the incident.
