Hattiesburg, MS (February 15, 2023) – A car accident happened in Hattiesburg on the morning of February 8 that prompted an emergency dispatch. Shortly before 9:00 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the crash on College Drive.
According to local reports, the collision occurred in the 100 block of College Drive near Scianna Hall. Several emergency responders were seen rendering aid at the crash scene a short time after the incident took place.
One or more injured victims were treated and transported by ambulance to local hospitals. The extent of the injuries suffered in the crash has not been reported at this time.
The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present. Police in Hattiesburg are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
