Jackson, MS (March 1, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a crash that occurred in Jackson on the morning of March 1. Shortly before 9:00 a.m., crews were dispatched to the scene of the collision on Interstate 55.
Sources report the wreck occurred in the southbound lanes of I-55 near Gluckstadt Road. The crash happened on the right shoulder for reasons still under investigation by police.
Paramedics treated those injured in the wreck before transporting them to local hospitals as needed. The names of the involved individuals have not been reported.
Drivers commuting in the area were asked to use caution while crews worked on the roadway.
