Sandersville, MS (March 31, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following a crash that took place in the Sanders Hill area.
At around 9:15 p.m. on March 30, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 59.
Reports from the Mississippi Department of Transportation show that vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 59. The accident caused delays near exit 104 at West Main Street. All lanes of travel were blocked on the road, causing delays throughout the area.’
At least one person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol at this time.
