Tate County, MS (June 11, 2023) – On the night of June 10, a serious car accident was reported to officials in Tate County. Multiple responders went to the crash scene at around 10:16 p.m.
The incident occurred on Interstate 55 near Exit 271, just past MS 306. Vehicles crashed in the area for reasons still under police investigation.
All northbound lanes of the road were blocked while crews worked to secure the scene and investigate the details of the incident. Those involved were aided by paramedics and taken to area hospitals if needed.
Their identities have not been reported at this time as police in Tate County continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
