Hinds County, MS (September 5, 2023) – A man from Shelby, Mississippi lost his life in a fatal accident in Hinds County. Reports from authorities show the wreck occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3.
Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene along with paramedics. They were seen rendering aid on Highway 49 a short time after the incident occurred.
The cause of the crash has not been reported at this time. The roadway was closed while crews worked to secure the area, resulting in notable traffic delays.
Authorities in Hinds County are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
