Biloxi, MS (October 4, 2023) – An individual lost their life in a two-car collision in Greene County on Monday night, October 2. Responders went to the wreck site at around 11:45 p.m. after receiving reports concerning the incident.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol and EMS went to the scene after a 2022 Freightliner operated by a 61-year-old Purvis resident was headed east on Highway 98 and collided with a 2014 Chrysler 300. The Chrysler was operated by a 41-year-old identified as Samuel L. Henry of Beaumont.
Henry was headed north on Mississippi Highway 57 at the time of the accident. Henry was fatally injured in the crash. EMTs pronounced him deceased on-site.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol continue to investigate the details of the crash.
