Quitman County, MS (November 21, 2023) – A woman and child lost their lives after a collision in Quitman County. Reports from authorities show the collision happened between a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu at around 3:30 p.m. The vehicles crashed on Highway 6 when the Wrangler was headed east on the highway. It collided with the Malibu that was headed west at the time.
Two passengers present in the Malibu, identified as Katrina Hall, 43, and a 5-year-old child, lost their lives in the collision. Authorities in Quitman County continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
