Jackson County, MS (December 13, 2023) –At approximately 2:30 p.m., on Sunday, December 10, a fatal traffic accident occurred in Jackson County. A woman identified as Mildred Davis, 73, lost her life in the crash. Police report the collision took place when Alice Haydock, 74, was headed west onto Wade-Vancleave Road from Highway 63 when she was involved in a crash with a 2015 Honda Fit. The Fit was operated by Mildred Davis of Pascagoula. Haydock also collided with 41-year-old Felecia Carter of Vancleave who was stopped on Wade-Vancleave Road.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is working to investigate the details of the accident.
