Walthall Co., MS (March 1, 2024) – A 35-year-old lost their life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Monday, February 26. The accident was reported to the Mississippi Highway Patrol at around 5:20 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a 2019 Honda Accord was traveling south on Dillon Hill Road when it collided with a 2007 Western Star truck. The driver of the Honda, identified as 35-year-old Deyona James, suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck, 60-year-old Jerry Forbes, was not injured. At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
