Biloxi, MS (April 30, 2022) – Around 10:20 p.m. on the night of Friday, April 29, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Biloxi.
According to Biloxi Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Bellman Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found that a pedestrian was crossing the street in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time following the collision. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
