Bovina, MS (October 18, 2022) – On the afternoon of October 18, a car crash happened in Hinds County that caused injuries. At approximately 3:23 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the wreck site to help those involved and investigate the details of the incident.
Police and paramedics were observed at the crash site, located on US 80 near the intersection with Nichols Drive. All lanes of the roadway were blocked while responders worked to secure the area.
At least one person was treated for injuries on-site and transported to a local hospital for further care. Currently, the names of the involved individuals have not been reported.
Authorities asked local drivers to use alternate routes of travel while the wreck site was occupied by emergency workers. Authorities in Bovina are still investigating the details of the incident.
