Byhalia, MS (November 9, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 9, an injury accident occurred on a highway in Byhalia.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-269 around the area of Red Banks Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
