Carmack, MS (November 14, 2022) – On Wednesday, a serious traffic accident happened in Carmack. At approximately 3:32 p.m., on November 10, emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident with injuries.
Sources say the incident occurred in the 3100 block of Attala Road. Responders with the Attala Central Fire Department, Friendship Volunteers, Carmack Volunteers, and Attala Deputies were sent to the scene to render aid.
According to reports, a log truck was involved in an accident approximately three miles down Attala Road. The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Whether anyone else was injured in the wreck has not been reported at this time.
Police and paramedics worked at the scene for some time on the afternoon of November 14. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victim.
