Copiah County, MS (April 20, 2023) – On Wednesday, April 19, a serious car crash happened between two vehicles in Mississippi. Reports show the incident happened on I-55 at approximately 8:40 p.m.
Police responded to the scene on Interstate 55 near the 72-mile post. A Toyota 4-Runner driven by Bayron Hernandez, 46, was towing another vehicle while headed south when it was involved in a crash with a 2005 Nissan Maxima.
The driver of the Nissan and a minor passenger were transported to UMMC in Jackson with injuries of an unknown magnitude. At this time, authorities in Copiah County continue to investigate the details of the crash.
