DeSoto County, MS (February 1, 2024) – An auto accident was reported to police in DeSoto County on the evening of February 1. At approximately 8:14 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident on Mississippi Route 302. Police and paramedics went to the scene near Elmore Road to help the people who were involved in the accident. Paramedics rendered aid to injured victims and transported them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Currently, those involved in the accident have not been identified. All lanes of the road were blocked while emergency responders worked in the area, and local drivers were urged to use alternate routes for the time being.
