Ellisville, MS – Semi-Truck Collision on SH 29 Results in Injuries

Ellisville, MS (January 3, 2024) – Emergency crews went to the scene of a collision with injuries in Ellisville on Tuesday morning, January 2. Sources say the wreck occurred on State Highway 29 at around 6:50 a.m. in the Johnson Community. Authorities report the crash involved an 18-wheeler, a passenger vehicle, and a waste management truck. Several injuries were reported as a result of the accident. South Jones Fire and Rescue, the Johnson Volunteer Fire Department, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol also responded to the crash scene. All lanes of traffic in the area were backed up while emergency responders worked in the area.
