Forrest County, MS (April 19, 2023) – A serious car crash was reported to police in Forrest County on the morning of April 19. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, crews were sent to the scene of the collision to help the involved parties. 

One or more patients received emergency medical care at the crash site, located on Interstate 59 near Monroe Road. Emergency responders helped those who were hurt and took them to the hospital by ambulance. 

The crash site, located near exit 73 on I-59, was occupied by emergency crews for an extended period of time on Wednesday morning. As a result, traffic was delayed for some time.
