Forrest County, MS (December 16, 2023) – A crash happened on Wednesday night in Forrest County that ended in injuries and traffic delays. Responders say the collision occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. near milepost 71 on Interstate 59. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, including an 18-wheeler that was hauling car parts. At least one person suffered injuries in the collision, and one of the vehicles, along with the 18-wheeler, suffered major damages in the accident. The Mississippi Highway Patrol and AAA Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
