Gulfport, MS (September 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene of a traffic accident in Gulfport. Sources say the collision occurred on 20th Avenue near Highway 90.
Information from police said that first responders arrived at the crash site at approximately 8:00 p.m. They found Carlos Del La Cruz, age 23, who had lost his life due to blunt force trauma.
News reports concerning the wreck said that a woman has been arrested in relation to the accident after fleeing the scene without rendering aid.
Traffic was backed up in the area while responders work to clear the crash site. Authorities in Gulfport continue to investigate the details of the accident.
