Hattiesburg, MS (November 14, 2022) – On the morning of November 14, a serious car wreck was reported to officials in Forrest County. Sources say the incident took place in Hattiesburg on US 98.
Information provided by local officials shows that the collision occurred on US 98 near the intersection with Ralston Road. All westbound lanes of the roadway were blocked due to an unspecified number of vehicles colliding.
One or more people were hurt in the crash, however, their names have not currently been released. Police and paramedics were called to the scene a short time after it occurred in order to render aid to the involved parties.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by local police. Nothing further has been reported concerning the crash or its circumstances.
