Hernando, MS (November 9, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 9, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a major highway in Hernando.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of MS-304 around the area of McIngvale Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the westbound lanes of traffic for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
