Hernando, MS (October 3, 2022) – A serious car crash happened in Hernando on October 3. Emergency crews were sent to the scene at approximately 2:25 p.m.
At least two vehicles crashed on MS 302 near Elmore Road. Emergency crews including paramedics, police, and fire crews were seen working in the area shortly after the incident occurred.
All westbound lanes of the roadway were blocked while first responders were present. Traffic was backed up and police asked drivers commuting near the wreck site to use alternate routes.
One or more people were in need of medical attention at the scene. It remains unclear how many were transported to the hospital.
