Hernando, MS (May 27, 2023) – Police and paramedics in Hernando were dispatched to the scene of a truck accident on Friday, May 26. As many as eight vehicles were said to be involved in the incident, sources reported.
The collision took place near East Commerce Street when a tractor-trailer and several other vehicles became involved in an accident. Two individuals sustained injuries in the crash, sources said. Emergency responders remained at the scene for an extended period of time in an effort to help the injured victims.
The names of those involved have not been reported at this time. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
