Hinds County, MS – Auto Accident Results in Injuries on I-20 near MS 18

Hinds County, MS (January 25, 2024) – A major crash was reported to police in Hinds County on January 25. Shortly before 8:00 p.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the incident on Interstate 20. Police say the incident happened on I-20 near Mississippi Route 18/Exit 40 when two or more vehicles collided under circumstances that are still being investigated. All lanes of the interstate were blocked near exit 40 while emergency responders worked to help those at the scene. Those with serious injuries were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their identities have not been reported at this time.
