Mississippi Car Accidents

Hinds County, MS - Auto Collision Ends in Injuries on I-220 near W Capitol St

In Mississippi, car crashes occur for many different reasons. Most often, negligent driving is behind the majority of auto collisions in the United States and throughout the state of Mississippi. Each year, tens of thousands of collisions occur in the Magnolia State. These wrecks end the lives of around 600 people per year and cause tens of thousands of people to sustain injuries. More often than not, Mississippi car accidents occur due to the actions of intoxicated, distracted, and speeding drivers.

Distracted drivers are most often looking at their cell phone screens while behind the wheel. This puts them and everyone around them at serious risk of sustaining injuries or worse. Additionally, speeding reduces the reaction times of drivers and puts them at greater risk of sustaining debilitating or even fatal injuries if they become involved in accidents.  Additionally, driver intoxication impairs the judgment, vision, and reaction times of drivers and places them at severe risk of causing collisions and getting hurt or killed.
