Driver intoxication and speeding and driver intoxication are constantly factors in deadly accidents in Mississippi. In 2016, drunk drivers were behind approximately one-fourth of car wrecks that happened in the Magnolia State. Drunk driving collisions also yielded the highest number of deaths. Speeding and intoxication are both hazardous forms of driver error/negligence, the main contributor to car accidents in Mississippi and across the nation.
In 2020, alcohol-related fatalities were related to roughly 26% of total traffic accident deaths. About three-fourths of the deceased victims were intoxicated while behind the wheel. Being intoxicated often leads to impaired vision and bad judgment, two dangerous things to display while driving. Inebriated drivers usually cause accidents that can result in severe, debilitating injuries for victims or even death.
If you or someone you love has been injured in a car crash caused by intoxicated driving, speeding, or some other form of driver negligence, you may be eligible to collect significant financial compensation.
