Hinds County, MS (May 29, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday evening, May 28.
At around 8:55 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash that occurred on Highway 18.
Reports from authorities indicate that a driver was traveling on the westbound lanes of Highway 18 in a Chevrolet Tahoe during the evening hours. For reasons unknown, the vehicle collided head-on with a Cadillac CTS near Palestine Road.
The occupants of both vehicles, who were identified as only the drivers, suffered injuries. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
