Mississippi Auto Collisions
Sustaining serious injuries in a car crash can be a devastating and life-changing experience. Every year, over 3 million people go through this difficult experience in the United States. In Mississippi, tens of thousands of people suffer through serious injuries and long-term recoveries where they may be stuck in the hospital and unable to work. Not only do injured crash victims deal with painful injuries that take a long time to heal and keep them from living their life, but they also deal with emotional turmoil and financial problems related to their accidents.
On average, the state of Mississippi sees over 125,000 vehicle collisions per year that injure about 55,000 people and take the lives of more than 1,000. This is more than many other states in the nation. Mississippians are some of the more reckless drivers in the US, and, currently, the main cause of auto accidents in the state of Mississippi is speeding. Every year, close to 80 people lose their lives due to speeding accidents in the Magnolia State.
