Horn Lake, MS (December 18, 2021) – On Saturday, December 18, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Horn Lake.
According to Horn Lake officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-51 and Nail Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
