Horn Lake, MS (January 13, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious car crash at an intersection in Horn Lake on Thursday, January 13.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the afternoon hours at the intersection of US-51 and Church Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
