Jackson, MS (December 14, 2022) – An auto accident happened in Jackson on Wednesday morning, December 14. Shortly before 10:00 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 20.
Reports concerning the accident showed it occurred on I-20 at Gallatin Street in Hinds County. At least two cars crashed, resulting in injuries for the involved parties.
All eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed while emergency crews worked in the area. EMS treated injured victims and transported those with serious injuries to local hospitals for treatment.
The identities of the individuals involved were not immediately released. Traffic delays were significant in the area while crews investigated and worked at the crash site.
