Jackson, MS (January 4, 2022) – A crash happened in Copiah County on the afternoon of January 4 that required an emergency dispatch. At around 1:24 p.m., responders were sent to the crash site on MS 27.
Sources say the incident took place on MS 27 near Steel Creek Road. An unknown number of cars collided in the area for reasons still under police investigation.
Emergency medical aid was rendered to those with injuries at the scene. Currently, the extent of the injuries that occurred in the accident remains unknown.
Emergency responders worked in the area for several hours on January 4. Local drivers were urged to steer clear and use alternate routes if possible.
