Jackson, MS (February 10, 2024) – A major car wreck was reported to police in Jackson on the evening of February 10.
At least one person suffered injuries in the collision that took place just before 9:00 p.m. on Interstate 10. Several responders were dispatched to the wreck site to help the individuals involved. The interstate was blocked just past Mississippi Route 613/Moss Point while emergency responders worked in the area to investigate the details of the incident and help the injured victims. At this time, few details concerning the nature of the crash have been reported. Police in Jackson are still investigating. All westbound lanes of I-10 were blocked for an extended period while emergency crews were present on the road, resulting in substantial traffic back-ups.
