Jackson, MS (January 11, 2023) – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a car accident in Jackson. At around 9:30 a.m., the accident happened on US 49.
An unknown number of cars crashed in the area and injured at least one person. Paramedics treated those who were hurt at the scene.
Wounded individuals who needed medical attention were treated and transported to area hospitals. Their names have not been reported.
Police investigated the details of the accident while other emergency responders worked to secure the roadway by clearing the wreckage and helping injured parties.
