Jackson, MS (October 11, 2022) – At approximately 7:33 a.m., on the morning of October 6, multiple responders were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in Jackson. The wreck occurred on Interstate 220 for reasons still being investigated by local police.
Area authorities report that the incident took place on I-220 near Robinson Road between an unspecified number of vehicles. Traffic delays ensued in the area while emergency crews were present.
One or more people were in need of emergency medical care at the crash scene. The total number of victims in need of transportation to the hospital has not been reported at this time.
