Jackson, MS – Car Wreck Ends in Injuries on I-55 near St. Dominic’s

Jackson, MS (March 24, 2023) – A car crash with injuries was reported to officials in Jackson on the morning of March 17. At approximately 9:00 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 55. 

Local officials report the incident took place on I-55 near St. Dominic’s. Multiple vehicles collided for reasons still being investigated by police. 

Various responders went to the crash site to help those involved. They were observed working in the area for some time on the morning of March 17. Traffic was delayed near St. Dominic’s on the interstate due to the presence of emergency crews. 

Police asked local motorists to steer clear and find different travel routes for the time being. We hope for the full and fast recovery of those with injuries.
