Jackson, MS (February 24, 2023) – A major car crash happened in Jackson on the morning of February 23. Shortly before 9:30 a.m., the incident was reported to authorities in the area who went to the scene shortly thereafter.
Police, EMTs, and fire crews were observed rendering aid at the crash site on MS 18 near Maddox Road. An unspecified number of cars collided in the area and caused injuries.
Medics rendered emergency aid to those who were seriously hurt at the scene. At this time, the total number of injured crash victims has not been reported.
Delays in traffic were seen near Maddox Road on MS 18 for some time on Thursday morning. Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
