Jackson, MS (December 31, 2022) – A fatal car accident occurred on a roadway in Jackson on Friday, December 30. Emergency crews were seen helping at the crash scene shortly after it occurred.
Reports indicate the collision occurred on Clinton Boulevard near Flag Chapel Road and Carolyn Avenue. An unspecified number of vehicles crashed and caused injuries for those involved.
The crash appeared to be a head-on collision that took place between a Ford Escape and an unidentified sedan. At least one person was seen being removed from the wreck site in an ambulance. Investigators were also seen covering up the passenger side of one of the vehicles.
Authorities in Jackson continue to investigate the details of the incident.
