Jackson, MS (July 16, 2023) – Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed a man from Mississippi on Saturday afternoon, July 15. The victim was identified as 51-year-old Frank Tucker.
Tucker was hit by a car shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Saturday while he was walking north on I-55 near Highway 463. Police with the Mississippi Highway Patrol say the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Tucker lost his life at the scene due to the injuries he sustained in the collision.
Authorities in Jackson are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
