Jackson, MS (July 26, 2023) – A major car wreck occurred in Jackson on the evening of July 26. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident at around 5:00 p.m. in order to help those involved and investigate.
Local sources say the collision occurred on Interstate 10 near MS 63/East Moss Point. Vehicles crashed in the area and injured those involved; however, the reason the wreck occurred is still under police investigation at this time.
Several responders worked at the crash site for a prolonged period on the evening of July 26, causing significant traffic delays, mostly in the westbound lanes of the interstate. Those commuting near the scene were forced to find alternate routes while authorities worked on the road.
