Jackson, MS (December 11, 2022) – A car crash happened in Jackson on the afternoon of December 11. Reports indicate that injuries resulted from the crash that happened at around 12:33 p.m.
Sources say the collision took place on Interstate 55 just past Woodrow Wilson Avenue in Hinds County. All lanes were blocked while emergency crews worked at the scene.
Traffic delays ensued in the area while the roadway was closed. At least one person was treated for injuries at the scene. Paramedics rendered aid to extensively injured parties and transported them to local hospitals as necessary.
The names of the involved individuals have not been reported at this time.
